The Virtual Business Centre is a collection of communication & business applications that include services like single & bulk faxing module, SMS platform, integrated Fax to Email, Conference Call facility, Auto Receptions services, Credit Card Processing and Mobile Airtime recharge platform.


All the products in the VBC solution is linked to one pool account making it possible to use your available funds for any of the service. The prepaid "back-end" billing engine, allows for a true "pay-as-you-use" model.

VBC - Conference Call IVR Platform

The Virtual Business Centre includes a conference call facility. Utilising the VBC address book, SMS module and the IVR platform the VBC system is able to create an easy to use, low cost Conference Call environment. Registered users can simply log into the VBC porthole, select the day, time & number of participants and the system will automatically take care of the rest. SMS will automatically be sent out to invite and remind users to the conference call.

VBC users can now make multi-party calls by using the conference call IVR platform. The originator of the conference call will establish the number of participants (max 30) and submit an SMS to each participant with the date, time and PIN to join the conference. On the designated time each participant will phone the relevant access number, enter the PIN and be announced as a participant.

To access the conference call facility you need to log into the "VBC User Porthole". Enter your username and password. Your username is usually your 086 fax to email number. If you forgot your password – click on “forgot password” and follow the steps. If you are an active user you would be prompted to key in the onscreen security image.

After login navigate to the left side bar, select “Connect” and click on Conference Call. The Conference Call User Interface gives you a quick overview on booked activities and the option to setup new calls. The interface utilises a calendar outlay making it possible to view your booked conversance calls by day, month and year making it easy to plan ahead and schedule new events. The interface also includes a help section for 1st time users that explains how to setup and manage new conference calls.

On the Conference Call home page select the date that you would like to book the conference call and Click 'Add conference call' on the screen displayed on the right.

1. Select the number of participants that will be on the
     CONFERENCE CALL. Select the time that you wish the
     participant to be notified via sms as reminder before the call.
2. Now select the participants who will be on the call from your address book. NB: ALL CONTACT DETAILS
     FOR THE PARTICIPANTS MUST BE IN YOUR ADDRESS BOOK. There will be three sms’s sent to the
     participants on the call. The message content as follows. - ' Conference call is booked at 2011-06-26
     15:20:00(server time 2011-06-26 12:13:25) at that time please call (2711) 5774300 or 0861225546
     and enter pin no. 8489.'
1st sms, to be sent when the call is booked.
2nd sms, to be sent at the time selected as a reminder to the participant.
3rd sms - to be sent when the call starts.

Edit Conference
1. If you wish to edit the conference call, on the calendar, click
     on the date on which the conference call is booked and
     choose the conference you'd like to edit. Select the
     conference call from the 'Conference Calls' box, and the
     following screen will appear. Make the necessary changes by
     either adding or deleting a participant on the call. Whatever
     changes you make the necessary amounts will be debited or                                                                         credited to your account accordingly.
2. Once you have made the changes click on the SAVE CONFERENCE button at the bottom right hand
     side of the page.
3. Should you have added a participant then they will receive an sms notifying them of the call. Should you
     delete a participant then they will receive an sms notifying them of this delectation.
Delete Conference
1. If you wish to delete the conference call, on the calendar, click on the date on which the conference call
     is booked and choose the conference you'd like to delete. Select the conference call from the
     'Conference Calls' box
2. If you wish to delete the conference call, click DELETE CONFERENCE button.
3. If you are sure that you wish to delete the conference call then click OK button and the following screen
     will appear.
4. Once a CONFERENCE CALL has been deleted then the following sms will be sent to each participant:
     PLEASE NOTE the Conference call booked at 2006-06-26 15:20:00 has been cancelled. Please
     contact the organizer for more information.
