VBC - Conference Call IVR Platform
The Virtual Business Centre includes a conference call facility. Utilising the VBC address book, SMS module and the IVR platform the VBC system is able to create an easy to use, low cost Conference Call environment. Registered users can simply log into the VBC porthole, select the day, time & number of participants and the system will automatically take care of the rest. SMS will automatically be sent out to invite and remind users to the conference call.
VBC users can now make multi-party calls by using the conference call IVR platform. The originator of the conference call will establish the number of participants (max 30) and submit an SMS to each participant with the date, time and PIN to join the conference. On the designated time each participant will phone the relevant access number, enter the PIN and be announced as a participant.

Conference Call - Login
To access the conference call facility you need to log into the "VBC User Porthole". Enter your username and password. Your username is usually your 086 fax to email number. If you forgot your password – click on “forgot password” and follow the steps. If you are an active user you would be prompted to key in the onscreen security image.

Conference Call - User Interface
After login navigate to the left side bar, select “Connect” and click on Conference Call. The Conference Call User Interface gives you a quick overview on booked activities and the option to setup new calls. The interface utilises a calendar outlay making it possible to view your booked conversance calls by day, month and year making it easy to plan ahead and schedule new events. The interface also includes a help section for 1st time users that explains how to setup and manage new conference calls.

Adding a New Conference Call & Inviting Participants
On the Conference Call home page select the date that you would like to book the conference call and Click 'Add conference call' on the screen displayed on the right.
1. Select the number of participants that will be on the
CONFERENCE CALL. Select the time that you wish the
participant to be notified via sms as reminder before the call.
2. Now select the participants who will be on the call from your address book. NB: ALL CONTACT DETAILS
FOR THE PARTICIPANTS MUST BE IN YOUR ADDRESS BOOK. There will be three sms’s sent to the
participants on the call. The message content as follows. - ' Conference call is booked at 2011-06-26
15:20:00(server time 2011-06-26 12:13:25) at that time please call (2711) 5774300 or 0861225546
and enter pin no. 8489.'
1st sms, to be sent when the call is booked.
2nd sms, to be sent at the time selected as a reminder to the participant.
3rd sms - to be sent when the call starts.
